The Paracas National Reserve is a must stop; this State protected natural area is, among its beaches and staggeringly beautiful rock formations, the refuge to fur seals, otters, penguins, dolphins, and more than two hundred species of birds such as flamingos, waders, and guano birds. In Nasca, there are the Nasca Lines, one of the greatest archeological mysteries of the world. UNESCO placed this site on the World Cultural Heritage List in 1994.
Formed by a series of lines and gigantic drawings traced upon the sands, the Nasca lines feature figures like a spider, a hummingbird, a monkey, etc. that can only be truly appreciated from flying above them.
At about 12:30 passengers will be transfer from your hostel to bus station in Lima, we take the bus to Pisco town, the trip take 3 hours approximately, a person will be waiting for you in the bus station and transfer to your hostel. In the hostel a representative will be to give you information about your next day tour. Dinner in the hostel.
Overnight at Los Frayles Hostel
Early breakfast, and then we star the Ballestas Islands tours. The tour includes entrances, bilingual guide, tourist boat and the tour can take up to 2 hours. In this tour we visit the milenarium Candelabro (a big figure made in a rocky sand wall) the ballestas complex islands and natural habitad to Sea Lions, Pinguins, Sea Birds, etc.
Back to Paracas port, we will have a pack snack in the bus to Nazca. The driving time is around 4 hours. Arriving to Nazca bus station passengers are transfer to Hostel Roma and to explain about our activity for next day.
Overnight at Roma Hostel
Morning flight tour over the Nazca Lines. The tour include bilingual guide, transfer from the Hotel to the local airport, entrances and transfer back to the hotel. The tour stars in the morning around 07:00* and the fliying tour have duration of around 30 minutes. From the local airport we continues our visit to the pre-Inca cementery of Chauchilla, here is possible to see momies than have been keep almost intact by the dry desert.
We return to the hotel to resting hours before take the early afternoon bus (14:30). We will arrive to Lima at about 21:30 and transfer to your hostel in Lima.
